My first “proper” job in 1987 was as a warehouseman in Bristol. I worked for a small firm that sold car brakes to Car shops around the UK. I’m pretty sure the only reason I got the job was because I turned up in a suit..
This firm had a niche.
At the time, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but their sales reps USP was that they only did car brakes and did them better than other non specialists. Needless to say that firm grew exponentially.
I met the owner a few years back, he had just retired on the back of a 9 million payout. Not bad for what started as a small back street firm.
Imagine, if at the age of 18, that same director, took me to one side and taught me what he knew —
Would that have been worthwhile?

My name is Mark Knight and since 1991, I have been a financial adviser in and around Bristol since 1990. Although, my clients are spread throughout the UK.
In 2005, I started my own company, MK Financial Planning Ltd.
Mid 2020 I had over 6,000 pension clients. We were the number 1 financial advice firm on the review site I used with over 400 5* reviews.

There are approximately 100,000 Clickfunnel users and only approx 700 2cc winners. I believe I am the only Financial Adviser in the World who has been awarded a 2cc award.

How I got started with Clickfunnels
The first couple of things I did was undertake some training. Russell Brunson, one of the owners, creates the most amazing training and one of my personal coaches Dan Henry has been directly coached by Russell.
There are very few people who have been in this inner circle. The very first thing I did and something I tell all my students to do is attend the free masterclass .
So what does my success and the car parts company have in common? One word —
Niche
Once you have mastered your niche, your ideal clients will become attracted to you. Once you have your niche and you put the word out, great things happen.
Let me tell you what the first part of 2021 looks like in terms of what a niche has provided for me –January — Month off to celebrate my retirement.
Then back to what I love
Helping regulated advisers getting more clients in my spare time.
March — Yacht hunting abroad.
April — Phew — holiday in Cyprus.
May — I have planned this month to reach out to English speaking Countries to join summits and training on getting more clients.
June — Travel the UK on holiday.
July — 2 weeks creating content for the next 2 months whilst I holiday around the World, wherever Covid allows it!!
You see I plan my lifestyle, then plan “work” around it. I have done this for the last 5 years and it is a great way to live.
It’s all about starting with the end in mind and that’s exactly what I help client’s do.
